Krug is an intimate restaurant with an open kitchen, where guests are seated around the 12-seat counter that surrounds it.
This allows us to provide personalized and attentive service.
Everything in the restaurant revolves around a massive bar where people sit and observe everything happening in front of them. Food preparation, wines, and other beverages take place in front of the guest, which is something our guests find very interesting. All of this is accompanied by constant communication about what is currently on their plate or in their glass.
At Krug, we offer 9-course tasting menu.
We pay special attention to selecting ingredients, which must be fresh, organically grown and sourced from local farmers, butchers, and fishermen.
Everything we serve on the menu is produced in-house – from butter, bread, to all fermentations, pickled foods, non-alcoholic beverages based on water kefir, soda or kombucha.
We also use dry-agers in the restaurant, which allow us to age fish and meat. This concentrates the flavor of the ingredients, eliminating excess water.
The menu at Krug adjusts to the available ingredients, so we do not have a fixed schedule for changing the menu. We are quite fluid about that and we change dishes in agreement between us, when we are sure we can complement them with a selection of drinks.
Krug does not have a dress code. We want our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their time with us, so please come as you are.
